He called yesterday saying “I have bad news, I’m being discharged“. His shin splints arent even the reason. Apparently he has PT Tendinitis . They said the arch on his foot was fine but a certain muscle is like pushing down on the arch which can cause it to be problematic and its discharge-able. So they turned in his discharge papers and transferred him to a different unit. They said if he was able to get rid of it, he can try again in 2 years if he feels he can do it.
