There is no basic or tech school for officers - that's all done during OTS. OTS is 12 weeks long. My husband found out about 4 months before he left for OTS where our first duty station was going to be. I don't think he got his official orders until…
Do you itemize deductions? There aren't any different deductions for taxes if you don't itemize. If you do itemize, then all of his uniform stuff (patches, ribbons, uniforms, boots, socks, shirts, drycleaning, alterations/sewing, etc.) are deductibl…
