I love it too and that's why I sent to every military wife I knew on facebook. It hit home b/c it reminds me of my niece and nephew who has to live without their dad while he's on deployments all the time.
sandi just sent that to me on face book i started crying I love it becuase I will b so proud of my son if i ever was in that situation :) It was bueatiful proud to b a military spouse :)

A place for all of us women that have children and are husbands are away or deployed. We can come for feedback and a place we can share our experiences and thoughts. A place we don't ahve to feel alone because we have one another.
Maybe try thinking of home back pay checks you have till he comes home to break it up a bit. Maybe take a class like yoga or sala or something. Anything that you can do that you look forward to. x x

Hot and Cold
So my hubby is getting ready to deploy again soon and he is starting to change. He is very Hot and Cold. He says alot of it is because he doesn't want to get to close to the kids and I and he figures that I should take care of them on my own since he won't be here. I took the picture, though, because I have to wear glasses, and couldn't ever get sunglasses, because they have to be prescription in order for me to see. And, my mother always refused to spend that kind of money on them for me. So, right after my husband left, I had an eye exam, and opted to buy myself sunglasses instead of another pair of glasses. And, I really, really love them!!! LOL!

I got some bad news today because my good friend found out his colon is filled with cancerous polyps and they have to remove his entire colon. Poor guy isn't even 22 years old yet. - i know how things can seem much harsher over the net and I am one who doesnt hold my tongue so if I feel i am being attacked in anyway i will defend myself. as far as these groups that "exclude" people, i could care less about people having groups for newer wives, older wives whatever...im just saying if you feel a certain way, let it be known, instead of saying it in a group where newer wives may feel excluded from or dumb for trying to join.But i can see how someone may feel about groups ive made. I take nothing personal because I am one who really doesnt care what other people think
BUT this site is NOT for drama and we are not in highschool. I am not one to sugar coat stuff but sometimes ppl may need to vent without being told the truth or reality. Im just rambling lol but bottom line is: I came here to make friends, not enemies, and if I offeneded you or said something out of context...I never meant for it to be that way. We are grown women and we are supposed to support each other instead of turning against each other

This is for military wives that have goals outside of just being a military wife. Wives that have already accomplished there goals please share with us.
