I have been an Army wife for 8 lovely months.
My hubby and me were stationed at Ft. Stewart, GA but are currently going through our first deployment.
but we are both from San Antonio, Texas.
I am a SAHW but I am going to school for early childhood education...and plan on opening up my own daycare one day.
Reading, dancing, singing, scrapbooking are my passions. I am a computer nerd and proud :)

Stephanie Choice-Farkasdi said… - oh, ok.. well, my hubby, joseph, is in the color guard. his mos is water treatment, but the only water he touches now is in the shower and whatever he drinks. he really likes being in the color guard, which i affectionately call hte army's whore corp! this is our first duty station and we are excited to be going to germany soon! we will probably make europe home and just visit the states every now and again! or maybe we'll eventually move back to hawaii!

- i do live on post in liberty woods, but this neighborhood just has waaaay too much drama, so i kinda stay to myself now. not that i'm NOT interested in meeting new people.. i do passion parties, but i just haven't been that into it! i guess i should get started again, seeing as i was just reinstated! how long have you guys been here?

- i'm from dallas, tx so i'm used to having to drive at least 30 to 45 min to get from point a to point b! doesn't bother me one bit! i've had great neighbors and we did a lot a partying before and after the guys left, then things quickly got out of hand as some were beginning to cheat and other stuff so i just kinda retreat into my home and just do a lot with my family now! we have a private backyard so we really enjoy it a lot! plus, with the recent death of my mother, i don't really socialize too much anymore. i probably will once i get to germany, but then again, i plan on working and going to school so there won't be too much time for socializing even there!

just wanted to take a min to be a cry baby ... my husband has 24 hour duty today and i didnt get to spend christmas day with him ;-( wouldnt be so bad if i wasnt 9 months pregnant and didnt lose my mucus plug this morning ... and we dont know anyone…
