its just hard. im scared... i dont want to me this upset all the time, its hurting my husband and i and i love him dearly.... i hate this... im scared to talk to someone cause i dont know if i want to know everything thats hurting me....
Yes you are definately depressed, but it is understandable, and yea maybe you should go to see a counselor even one visit might make the difference... and don't be ashamed to...god didn't make us perfect for a reason....you know someone asked Why ...
you can call militaryonesource and get set up with a counselor that can help you get to the bottom of it and its free... for 12 sessions... sounds like your depressed or maybe have a hormonal imbalance

- hey my name is Mallory and im an Air Force wife. I got married at 19 to Andrew J. Morris, my airman =D He is a Firefighter in the USAF. We are being stationed at Elmendorf AFB in ALASKA first! its scary and exciting all in one! i love to meet people who have been in my position and know what im going through and who can help me through the hard times like i want to be for other people =D

hey guys sorry its been so long!
Its been crazy since the last time ive been on. my hubby is at Goodfellow AFB right now. I have a place outside of base so i see him everyday =D its such a relief being here and seeing him and seeing him succeed =D. i am so happy its nuts but im alot calmer now. we had are fights but its getting sooo much better =D we are getting stationed in January at Elmendorf ALASKA!!! talk about a change!!! mass to texas to ALASKA!! its gonna be something new =D im excited!!!

Im new to this...
Hi Im Mallory. I just got married may 29th to my amazing husband who just left for bootcamp and tech school for the Airforce and i just need help. I need to know if this is going to get easier. Im having a real hard time with this and im trying to find things to do and keep myself occupied and i cant find anything. so i found this site and i was hoping to find some help and support on what to do... im only 19 and this is a huge thing for me.. help!

- Hey Mallory! Thanks for the add. Did the AF pay for you to move to the same city as your husband while he's in tech. school? Just curious, my husband graduates this Friday from BMT and I'm reeeeeally hoping I get to go with him wherever he is stationed for Tech. school!

- Well, the Canyon Cafe isn't there anymore! LOL! Anyway, yeah, my husband works in the hospital, so if he isn't busy he can call. He also brought his laptop with him and pays for internet access every month so we can talk to each other through skype. My husband is even on Facebook every so often. It's nice though, because he will call to let me know that he and the others he's with are ok if something big happens. I think he talks to his commander here more often than he talks to me, though! LOL!

- Forgot to answer your question about contact with my husband! LOL! Ummm... I lucked out with this deployment, because after he left, and through the summer I talked to him almost every day. Some days twice a day. Now, it's about once or twice a week. It's ok that it's not as often as it was. It's more than most talk to their husbands during deployment. For a while we were talking so much that there wasn't anything left to talk about, really! LOL!

- LOL! Alaska shouldn't be too bad! It doesn't have cold and snow year round like people think! My sister is going to school right now for Fire Science... She took the fire test (or whatever it's called) and did really well, but she's waiting for jobs to open up in that area! Any time we mention that she should join the military she just argues with us (anyone) about it, so we don't mention it anymore. She seems happy. She used to work at the Canyon Cafe, but it closed a couple of months ago. Now she's waitressing at some restaurant in Worcester, I think.
Good luck to you and your husband! I am hoping that we get to AK soon, but we will see how that goes. We have another 3 years (at least) here in CO, still.

- Sorry my welcome is a little late! My husband is AF, too. He's currently depoyed. We moved here to Colorado Springs from Hanscom AFB, in MA. My sister lives in Shrewsbury with her boyfriend of 4 years. I am a stay at home mom to 3 kids, while my husband is deployed to Afghanistan. He's been in the AF for 7 years now, and I'm hoping to go back to school soon.
Good luck in AK and if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask!

This is for military wives that have goals outside of just being a military wife. Wives that have already accomplished there goals please share with us.
I love it too and that's why I sent to every military wife I knew on facebook. It hit home b/c it reminds me of my niece and nephew who has to live without their dad while he's on deployments all the time.
sandi just sent that to me on face book i started crying I love it becuase I will b so proud of my son if i ever was in that situation :) It was bueatiful proud to b a military spouse :)
