i am 20 years old, My name is Heather, and im going to school for cosmetology, its starting to get boring so im thinking about switching to another school for forensics, me and my husband have only been married since April. 1st, 2009, we havent known each other that long, but i knew the moment i seen him i couldnt let him go, and i never did. he just got deployed to afghanistan for 10 months, he will be back home in April probably the end of it. im still new to the whole military wife so im still learning the ups and downs. we have no kids, just a kitten, her name is sassy and shes a Bengal . shes evil as ever. lol but we love her. your more than welcome to add my myspace just let me know that your from here or i wont accept it. lol

35 tired and true ways to keep your sanity while hes deployed...

1.Be a joiner in your unit’s family readiness group. There, you will not only find the support and friendship of others sharing the same experience, but you will also be among the first to learn of any noteworthy news.

2.Enroll in a certificate or degree program. You will not only keep busy with the books but you will be making yourself more marketable for the future as well. Research military spouse-specific scholarships and grants to defray the cost.

At 12:14pm on September 12, 2009, Lisa Pinkney said…: well me and my husband is stationed in norfolk,va right now he is on a carrier but he is going to be going to school in nov for a month in Fl. and after that is shore duty so he'll be home more ( which i am gonna enjoy) and he'll change duty stations to va beach and we are moving into a townhouse in oct and i am looking fwd to that because we'll have more room.. i am 19 yrs old my husband and i will be married 1 yr in Jan. i am originally from PA and will be living in va for another 4 yrs then my husband plans on getting out after those 4 yrs are up all together it will be 8 yrs of in the navy . but it will be nice to move back to my home state. i am looking into going to school and becoming a medical assistant.
